Nigeria beats Mali to win FIFA U-17 World Cup

Nigerian Golden Eaglets have retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup (Chile 2015) after beating fellow African, Mali, 3-0 in Vina del Mar.  Nigeria has now won the prestigious tournament for a record fifth time. The tournament highest goal scorer with 10 goals, Osimhen, scores the opening goal in the 56 minutes with a brilliant right-foot drive. Bamgboye, who missed the semi-final against Mexico, scores the second goal three minutes later. Nigeria is the first team to defend the U-17 World Cup since Brazil did the same in 1999.

Meanwhile Nigerians on social media have criticized the the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, for his partisan comment following the victory of the Golden Eaglets. Adesina posted a tweet that suggest that the President is responsible for some of the achievements recorded recently by various Nigerian sport teams.

    Femi Adeshina aren’t yet through with propaganda and lies? With every facet stagnated, these bare faced lies are still being peddled. Now they want to hijack the temporal relief God has brought to give smiles on our faces. Gosh! This government is nauseating.
